Bitter WISN Requests WLS Blackout On Time Warner Cable/Racine

Milwaukee's WISN had previously requested Time Warner Cable/Racine drop Chicago's WLS from their lineup, so that they could be the exclusive ABC affiliate for the area. (Racine is part of the Milwaukee DMA.) Now, they are requiring TWC to black out any programming, be it ABC network programming or syndicated shows, on WLS that WISN also carries.

My information is that the FCC has shot down WISN's attempt, ruling that WISN failed to establish that WLS isn't "significantly viewed" by OTA viewers in Racine.
