"BJ And The Super Ones"

Back in the early 1990's on KTVT Channel 11 there used to be this for-kids personality named BJ who would appear in bumpers doing live reports from places like Six Flags, Wet And Wild, circuses, etc. and would hold contests for children and whatnot. I was wondering what his name was and whatever happened to him. I used to see him alot on TV growing up whil watching afternoon cartoons.

I had forgotten about him. But now that you mention him, I'd be curious in knowing what happened to him as well.

Seems like it was Channel 39 instead, and in the late 1980s. BJ would have been the successor to longtime funnymen Frank and Darryl Kuntz, who did the kiddie zanies in the late 70s into the 80s. All I remember about BJ is that he was an annoying, overanimated, gay-sounding overgrown kid (probably late teens.)

And yes, I have him on tape somewhere, and, as usual, I don't have the time to pull it (or just find it) and post it on YouTube! Sorry, Dan...I know I still made a promise to post the 1977-era Channel 8 signoff as well...I'm staring at the tape right now, but just can't seem to get everything hooked up and done and over with. BJ would likely be on Beta, which presents another problem with properly-working machinery.
