BJ105 airchecks 1986-89

BJ 105, reaches the beaches and rocks the shores.......where's a Brian (Thomas, Phillips or White) when you need one?

i remember when BJ105 and WLOF simulcasted the morning show in the early 80s. I believe Scott Walker was the morning jock at the time.....he is now the PD/midday host at Q105 in tampa.

i still have some slips from prizes i won on WLOF as a kid that has rounsaville radio on it. A coupon for a 3-foot-long inflatable Wrigley's gum pack that i never cashed in.
 
Ha ha, I still own a new BJ 105 t-shirt, license plate and a portable radio tuned to 105.1. Not for sale..... ;D

Tracey was doing Middays at Q102 when I was across the street at the ill-fated I-100. She later joined the team across the street, then to BJ after that. Lost track since. Great straighrt ahead jock. Nice lady.
 
Tracey and I worked together at Q 102 in the early 80s. At the time she was on the 10PM to 2AM shift. If memory serves me correctly I believe she was on mornings on WMGF for a while after leaving WBJW/WOMX.
 
Tracey went from Q102 to KOFM, Oklahoma City.

She started at BJ105 in July 1986, survived the format change to MIX105.1, and left to become morning show co-host on MAGIC 107.7 in 1994.
 
All great people. I have fond memories of Tracey when I filled in for the afternoons at BJ 105 and Mix 105.1. GM was a loon though. Sorry Ricky W, I don't miss you and the temper. :mad:
 
I remember playing softball and drinking beer with the mix 105 guys when we all played in the media league at lake fairview, early to mid 1990s........tom hauf?? was there coach. Erica lee would occassionally sit in the stands and watch the games.
