Black Eye Peas on 96.3

Heard Don't Phunk with my Heart at about 3:40. I just have to say, what is so Latin Hip Hop about this track? It's a pop record, much like the Backstreet Boys or Ashlee Simpson. Is SBS trying to modify 96.3 so they can stick it to Emmis in a future court date that "96.3 isn't a DIRECT KPWR competitor so we haven't violated our contract Mr Judge". Won't work IMO.<P ID="signature">______________

They played that song three hours after they signed on. I don't think anything's changed. They probably feel the song fits their target audience...

I agree, if the target audience likes the track, it makes sense to play it. You often hear crossover hits on other stations with differing formats so this is not too uncommon :)
