Black Friday For Sports Parkinglots

Not one, not two, but three Sports Parkinglots will handle the overflow of live games being offered by TMISU this Friday. ASU mens b'ball on Sports Parkinglot 8~Sixty. Suns on Sports Parkinglot 6~Twenty. And the ASU-UA Territorial Cup game on Sports Parkinglot 92~Three. YIKES! The push button radio in the Gremlin will be getting a real workout Friday night as Nurse Jeff and I wrap up Black Friday with a sports triple header. We'll just toss all those bargains we picked up at WalMart, Best Buy, Target, Home Depot and Howie World in the roomy trunk of our AMC classic ;)

Thanks for the bad news Doc! The one day I would want the game to actually be on Sports 620 KTAR, it's getting moved to FM. I'll be down in the Old Pueblo at the big rivalry game tomorrow and I was hoping I could listen to the ASU announcers on Sports 620 KTAR (which comes in pretty good at night down in Tucson). 92.3 on the other hand, is not able to be picked up at all inside the UofA stadium. The same thing happened two years ago when I went down for the big game with the Suns on 620 and the Devils on 92.3.

Looks like I'll be stuck yet again listening to the Bumcats announcers on KCUB 1290 / KHYT 107.5 FM. The only nice thing is that if we win, it's enjoyable to hear the UofA announcers bellyache and cry like they did two years ago after the blocked PAT in double overtime. Go Devils! :)

Yo, Jorge de ASU...

Is it Tucson where you are? You'll know you're in the Old Pueblo (not to be confused with the Old Gringo) by checking this link: http://radiodiscussions.com/smf/index.php?topic=203051.0
