Black History Month

So, most Urbans, Urban AC and Inspiration stations usually have a minute/moment in Black History honoring an African American that has made a major accomplishment. Lots of television stations do it too. It ran across my mind that stations without an Urban format don't do this, even Rhythmics.

Apparently KMEL is the only CC urban I have noticed not to have a dedicated Black History Month link. This is in contrast to its other urban and urban ac sisters having the same webpage template for it, but KMEL still acknowledges it on their Facebook page and their Sunday morning gospel show. But I do remind myself that it has the "multicultrual" approach to the format so...

So does WPGC have with their format, so I don't know KMEL's excuse is because they ought to be considering they are the only real urban west of the Rockies.
