As for 105.3, someone posted on these boards a while back that IHeartMedia kicked out Centro from all their HD signals, as Centro's translators were running too much power. I know that FCCData says it's owned by someone else, but FCCData's wrong as the translator is still owned by Centro and the application to transfer to Hector's ex got dismissed.

Yet it still bills about $3 million.

That is not much for Houston, but in perspective it is nearly three times what the market leading AM in Beaumont bills. So at that level, they can be making a nice profit on limited costs.

Keep in mind that out of roughly 15,000 US stations, less than 800 billed over $3 million in 2019. That means that 14,200 billed under that amount.
 
K287BQ 105.3 fm and KTWL are not associated with the good Pastor Hector Guevara. Both stations owned by his Ex wife. I don't hear anything but music playing on both stations. Maybe they will be leasing or waiting for the right tenant.

Well that explains why it does not have a real HD Broadcasting K287BQ. Centro is just a complex and utterly disordered and mismanaged company. San Antonio is getting very fun for Centro with all the fake HD applications.
 
Wrong!! The station is owned by his ex wife. You may need a course on how to find fcc updates but she owns the station. The KTWL sale has been approved by the FCC.
 
It appears to be owned by a group including his ex wife. Also shows foreign ownership or did that change as well?

Looks like a wild stab at "consummation," which is what would describe the final outcome of a transaction.

It's amazing what people, even in the media, come up with for spellings. I once edited copy from a reporter who had written a story having to do with dogs, and she referred to one as a "chuwawa" throughout. Ummm, that's Chihuahua. "Dalmation" I can understand. "German Sheppard" is bad, but at least the misspelling is an actual name. But how does someone just throw "chuwawa" into a story meant for publication without thinking at some point, "Hmmm, maybe I should look this up."?

I don’t know if this was posted about or how long it’s been running but bin is on 1320 am. It is local news.
 
That will take some time...to triplex three AMs with different patterns into one system takes a lot of planning, modeling and verification...it must be approved by the FCC before any work can start.
