Black-Owned Broadcasters and Arbitron's PPM

Anyone read the story today about a black-owned broadcaster's group asking Arbitron to slow down on rolling out the PPM? I found that very interesting in that they're obviously concerned about how minority stations will fare with the People Meter. Wonder if it will cause them to go down in the ratings because there won't be all the ethnic weighting with the PPM? That would certainly change the look of things in this market where WJMH and WQMG have really been on top for a long time. Personally, I think WMAG will REALLY benefit from the PPM. That station is played in all the doctors and dentists offices. Hell, they were even playing it in the operating room when I had minor surgery! And, I doubt very seriously that surgeons have much time to fill out an Arbitron diary! Any thoughts?

Would they weigh drug induced listening in that case? Oh, yea, I am sure you will wear your PPM into the operating room!
