Black Point - WataGataPitusBerry on Party Fm

I was looking at Party Fm's playlist and i saw this song on it at number 44: Black Point ft Sensado - WataGataPitusBerry
I listened to it and it seems like an odd choice for the station. Its sung all in spanish, and it is really bizarre . It seems to be the beat from Dj Class - I'm the Ish; but my opinion this is terrible.

Is it just me or am i wrong. Heres the link. What do you think.

Hear it a lot on the traffic jam in the mornings. This track sounds more suitable for La Fiesta or X (Equis)

LOL I wondered how to find this song. This is actually my favorite song on Party FM.

I wonder what clubs some people go to. This song is HUGE in the Manhattan clubs. Oh but I guess with some it won't count because it's not that supposedly worldy Manhattan part. ::)

Anyone remember Paradiso - Bailando? Huge dance hit, despite being all in spanish. Another one that was popular (at least in SoCal) was Moena - Dejame Entrar. I wish I'd hear this stuff on Fiesta instead of the usual stuff.

You just wanna get that "dig" in, don't'cha? Hey, at least you're reading my stuff! :)

And as far as the Manhattan clubs go, yes, it is big.....NORTH of 145th Street. Serious.

I have "Bailando" on my iPod and yeah, big dance hit back in 1999! Power 96 Miami was all over it then. :)

I suppose you are reading me as well. That is the whole concept behind message boards, right? ;)

As far as my "dig", it wasn't directed at you or else you would have been quoted. That post is like two weeks old when the whole board was flooded with the dance purists' whine-o-rama. Besides,it's obvious when newbies have an agenda. ;)

For the record, the song is junk BUT if it's a party song that people are wanting to hear then let it play. I'm the type of dance fan that's inclusive. If it works the crowd then I'm going to play it loud.

Yeah...true, I'll give it to you with the newbies "agenda". :)

And I do agree that as long as a track packs the floor, then a DJ goes with it since his/her career is dependent on that. I just can't see this track being played at Pacha or Cielo. DEFINITELY at the predominantly Latino based clubs, oh yeah.

Though I should mention one thing, but I think you know and this is the "exception". When I had stated worldly regarding Manhattan, I was more along the lines thinking of the "transplanters", "hipsters" as well as the African-American and Asian populations that are into the deeper house and/or trance sounds. The part of Manhattan that would love this track I place under "outerborough", just like there are those that live in Brooklyn (especially DUMBO) that can be placed as "worldly"
