First termination notice: the Bob & Tom local producer, weekend nights, and Battle-Nene sports anchor were let go today.

No info on other staff positions as of yet, but if I hear anything I'll pass it along.

Wow. I've been fired from every radio job I ever had on a Friday. Usually right after I finished.

It's "Bob FM".

It's a "Jack"-type station.

Most "Jack"-type formats run without live announcers.

The entire airstaff may be about to get axed and WRRK-96.9 may end up being jockless.

It's like the old "Rocky 103" automated station out of Steubenville.....
but with less personality

Ouch. My equivalent is the old WXLR-FM 103.1 in State College, which used a type of automation system 30 years ago I still think I saw 10 years ago at KQV.

Again, with less personality. The fellow who wrote the scripts being used for those bits between records is somewhere between obnoxious and clueless.

But what do I know?
