BlackJack: Playing What We Want

Folks, since the original Jack FM was launch in 2002 for playing all variety hits of the decade, so do you think that the next year or more will launch a new variety hits which it features Black Music of Soul, Motown, Funk, Disco, R&B, Hip-Hop & Rap that it will be called BlackJack?

Not likely, but I would certainly be inclined to listen to that than the lame Hot AC / Hair Metal hybrid of Jack-FM, that's for damn sure.

Sounds like an idea for the Las Vegas market ;)
I think if the idea came about, there'd be a different name.
Perhaps...Whoopie? ;D

Alright someones gotta do it, so here it goes. Blackjack FM (or AM for that matter). Start your workday off with 21 in a row.
Blackjack radio, featuring double down Tuesdays.
Blackjack radio, We'll hit you with more music after these words.
Any others? ;D

Your radio dial STANDS here...

DEALING more music than anyone...

Standby while we SHUFFLE the music (going into a commercial break)...

BLACK JACK is a little bit silly...given the state of radio today, I think CRAPS is more appropriate ;)

Hey, this is one of the better ideas I've heard for 101.1 of late. Love it!

It's been done already. See http://www.burnsradio.com/movin/

Movin' doesn't count. It's a very female oriented station that focuses on Disco and Classic R&B, with maybe a couple of exceptions. No Funk, very little new school R&B, and absolutely NO Hip-Hop & Rap.

The creators of Movin' have consciously made middle aged Females their core demographic. How about a take on this format that would appeal to the rest of us?
