Blast from the Past

Hey all -

I saw a unique reminder of Houston radio's past during my morning commute. On Highway 290 inbound at Gessner, there is an old billboard which is apparently being redone. They've stripped off the newer layers and now there's an old billboard showing.. for Rock 101! It prominently displays the "runaway radio". So if your commute takes you along 290 in the morning and they haven't covered the billboard over by now with something new, you too can enjoy a Houston radio memory. :)

I saw a Puro Tejano 980 am van driving by 610 and 290, just to let you know.

I saw the Mega Hummer towing a trailer with lawn mowers & leaf blowers on it -- the logo said Mega Lawn Service
