FLO-RIDA's joint been gettin mad play here in ATL clubs since about August of this year. Don't slep on the SNOOP DOGG new joint 'cause its a BLAZER!

Don't agree with you on the Snoop record. Boosie, Kanye, Felli, J Holiday, Sean Kingston, and Rihanna are all solid. The rest, eh, not anything there that won't be a terminal current, if they chart at all.
 
The Snoop is a hate it or love it record. Personally I hate it.

Really liking Felli Fel and Sean Kingston off that list.

It seems like that has been the trend for a long time--- records always hit down in the south first, then work their way up the east coast...

PRIME EXAMPLE OF THIS--- I remember quite vividly back in JULY of 01' I was down in Orlando Florida, and the stations down there were already playing "I'm A Thug" by Trick Daddy ... Back here in Boston Jamn' 945 didn't add it until NOV-DEC ::) ???
 
In ATL, if you're an artist from here usually HOT 107.9/WHTA drops the song first. I've noticed HOT 107.1/KHXT in Memphis usually breaks new down south music first too. It all depends on your market too. The smaller markets here in the South tends to play ALL new music first, not just down south songs. Its tons of well known hip-hop and R&B songs that get no airplay here in ATL on neither of the 3 stations compared to other cities.
 
in the last year Both the PD and MD of Hot 107.9 ATL have stepped down so things may change there if they already haven't
 
Ok ok so I just heard the Snoop track and my first reaction was "Oh, T-Pain's on this record, so when is Snoop finally gonna come in" and then I realised that it WAS Snoop ::) haha!

I sort of like it, but c'mon, Snoop SINGING?? It almost sounds like a novelty record...

Seriously though, I think that song will either be HUGE, or it will be a complete and utter miss. And kudos to Snoop for putting it out there and trying something new at this stage of the game.

And I'm REALLY starting to like that Cherish/Yung Joc joint...

YEAH, I'm in love with the Snoop joint produced by Shawty Redd. I know Urban stations are probaly gonna spin it more than Rythmics and of course ladies in the nightclubs will dance to it. Check out SHAWTY REDD "Drifter" its kinda the same flow as Snoop's joint.
