I've known Blazor for nearly 20 years. If they let him do what he's capable of doing, this could be a great thing for the station and the market!

Mark is home grown, knows the station, knows the audience, knows the music and given more than 48 hours to make the mental transition to am drive, he might be exactly what need. They have brought in talent from around the country and failed. Maybe the best guy for the job has been right here all along.
Let's root for the hometown guy and the hometown owners before the white flags start flying.

As soon as I heard Jay on air, I thought to myself that he would not make it. I thought he would quickly move to WTDA TALK FM.
I got one right.
I don't mean to bash on Blazor, I just see him as a Great Midday guy. He is holding his own in the morning.
Hal needs to bring in someone who can attract listeners and push the envelope a bit. Also, they do need to bring in a female voice in the mix.
I listen all day everyday and as a listener I wanted to put my opinion out there.

Agreed. Jay didn't fit the format so I'm not suprised. He sounded out of place. Good luck to Blazor! He's put his time in at the Blitz and deserves a solid shot at making some noise.
Ronni is a great talent and I think her best spot is in middays or afternoons keeping the audience up to date on music news, concerts, the local scene, etc.

Is this Jay Charles that just started with Mix 97.1 WBNS as Charley w/ Kate?
He did not last but a month with BZX. He went to Texas and now (If it is the same guy) he's back.
He actually sounded decent today. Maybe the Rock format did not fit with him?
Also, He is making good with the listeners, he Pi$$ed alot of them off at BZX.
