Most people will remember this blizzard as Nemo, not the Blizzard of 2013.
No way! Just because one TV channel is calling it that?
About 500,000 results for "blizzard nemo" on Google (About 265,000,000 results without quotes). Stop digging.

Unclear quoting on my part - I was disputing the implication that only 'one TV channel is calling it that'.

Should another blizzard hit this season, however, the Blizzard of 2013 will go the way of the Great War.

a local power outage, rather than any issue with the stations/facilities, themselves (other than not having backups! ::)).

1260 has a rusted-out moss-covered pile of junk that looks like at one point it was generator/backup fueltank stuff that hasnt ben touched since the 70s. wish they'd decomission the whole thing. tho i wish Quincy would switch all their arc-y streetlamps to LED and everyone would toss their Plasma TVs (and meticulously wind all cables coming out of it thru ferrite cores), so the 1.5 day power outage was a real treat.. 830 out of worcester was taking calls from listeners up in nova scotia / new brunswick and 6160 St Johns "following the storm All day" for once was above the local noisefloor..
