man... couldn't have said it better myself. That's why I have mixed feelings about the Big Show. At times, it's good, level-headed sports talk but it often degenerates into a screaming match and has the same tiresome callers--Frank, Mike from Canton, Danny the Screamer from Quincy, etc... it's like an extended skit with the hosts playing characters. The only time it's tolerable is when some of the more knowledgeable sports writers like Buck, Mazz or McAdam are on there...
 
If the Herald's "rumor" about WBCN pursuing D&C is true, you may not have John, Gerry,
and Meter to push around anymore on Guest St...see sep. thread.
 
Meter is useless. He looks like Eddie Munster and adds nothing of value. He's always saying inane things and stepping on toes when he speaks atop someone else. People of Meter's ilk shouldn't be seen nor heard. Take Meter away from D&C and no one cares. He's not the one that brings them in.

he's playing a character... as for them going to WBCN, PLEASE DO! Then maybe there will once again be a sports show in the morning.
