Bloggers on WDEL

Two bloggers from Delaware Liberal are guest hosting the talk show on WDEL this morning. Admittedly, I have not listened to every minute of the program, so if what I'm about to say is inaccurate, I apologize. I'm disappointed that one of the hosts (from what I've been able to hear) is remaining anonymous and equally surprised that WDEL would allow him to do so.
Any thoughts on that?

It's in the nature of blogging and bloggers. Some choose not to be identified because of jobs, family, etc. Either a radio station decides to harness people from that new media platform, or it doesn't.

Bluntly, I don't imagine the topic even came up when it was decided to put on some bloggers (and others) during Al Mascitti's vacation. (Not that blogger anonymity isn't an interesting discussion topic for this board!).

If a radio station these days can keep it "live and local", and put on some diversity of views, mission accomplished.

I figured he was going to use his blog name, but I didn't realize he was going to use it exclusively.

I guess I'm OK with it. It's his pen name, if you will.

With that said, I've never liked the fact that the web/blogosphere allows people to say things anonymously without being able to be held accountable for what they say/write.
