BLOOD BATH AT UNIVISION HOUSTON

Just spoke to a buddy of mine it seems 28 ppl were let go today from different departments at univision radio including the afternoon dj from KLTN Gloria rodriguez and from KAMA the mid-day girl and the night guy who just a few months ago was the morning guy. Sad to see how bad the economy is doing i really hope it does not hit Liberman or the ppl that i work for anytime soon.

Any news about the TV side? Did they lose anyone in Engineering?

It is pretty sad. I used to work for a Hispanic operation that went from being a pretty strong player to absolute mediocrity for the sake of saving a few bucks.

I would presume that the recession hit Lenard as hard as anyone else.

But, then again, maybe "presume" is the wrong word. "Hope" is better, isn't it?

i agree with you ...but that means if it hits mr. lenard it hits me too... Mr. Liberman does a great job of what he does...try to learn as much as i can on what he does... even though i dont reallly talk to him that much..lol

yes as far as i know 4 ppl from the tv side were let go including jd who was the guy really running the show. Major changes are coming this monday stay tuned and i mean major changes!

Yes, he excels at creating turnover.
