Gone from CJAD are 20 year overnight host Peter Anthony Holder, news person Kathy Coulombe, as well as Rod Dewar, Saturday-night solid-gold host Al Gravelle, Sunday host Jake Lawrence, Kevin Holden as well as Olga Gazdovic and Laurie MacDonald.

Also let go was CHOM FM Promotions Director Skip Snair.

There are rumours that CHOM FM is next on the chopping block. There has been a reshuffling of CJAD's schedule as well.
 
I guess Astral isn't interested in keeping CJAD at the top of the Anglo ratings in Montreal. Did they not learn from CFRB Toronto? Their ratings have plummeted since Astral has taken over and has cut all sorts of long-time popular personalities.

Sounds like the spend five, make 6 direction rather than the spend 500 make 600 plan for all former Standard radio stations.

I guess they could care less.
