Bloodbath in the cornfield?...

What has happened at Q92?
Past few weekends, it seems all the part-time staff has disappeared.
Open House Party now takes up Saturday and Sunday nights and full-timers are on the rest of the day's schedule.

I know alot of Q92 staffers (including the owner, from what I have seen) frequent this board...maybe can give insight to what's up.

Although, I did see a posting for an opening of weekend talent down there.

No blood, just IGOR

They like their full-timers on weekends during a book. I've been doing weekends there too -I'm glad you noticed ;) , but I will be leaving in a few weeks. So it's all my fault that John is looking for a new part-timer(s)! I just can't keep driving 2 hours to work during the weekends in this awful snow from Grand River, -which is between Painsville and Mentor for those that don't know... I had no clue where Grand River was b4 I moved here! By the way, I'll be filling in this Thursday 3-7pm and will be on this Saturday Noon-7pm on Q-ornfield 92.
______________

Ironically, it was a decent couple of posts until you invited negativity! :-D

Full-timers on weekends is fine. But...I'd have one work Sat and another Sunday, different dayparts, and rotate weekends so each one is only working 3 out of 4. Part-timers round out the rest. That's what they're for, weekends and fill-in. How else are they to be groomed and get experience?

WMJI back in the day (94-99) a good example. Middayer Daune Robinson(Ravenna) worked Sat 10-2 and PM driver Scott Howitt Sunday 2-6p. Sun 10-2 was Sandy Bennett, who was FT overnights. Gave her some daytime exposure. Schedule was rounded out with part-timers. Every 4th weekend Scott and Daune were off, but never the same weekend. Holidays it was all part-timers. FT'ers were off. Benefits of being FT.
______________
