bloody Tuesday at CC-Dallas

Spies say middayers Ayo KDGE, Crash from Lonestar, Jen Austin from Mix, some IT and receptionist folks and moore all booted. Way to stay local

She will be fine. I enjoy her, too. Unlike many female jocks who either don't know anything about the music, don't care one way or the other about the music, try to sound like ho's to get guys to listen, or don't fit the format so they try to use so called "cool biker chick lingo" that is corny and outdated, Jessie is truly passionate about what she does (and her interview skills killer!) I have never heard any jock that does as much background prep as Jessie. Often times the bands themselves are amazed at the information she digs up.lol You can really hear the genuine excitement in her voice when she talks about the music. I wish there were more rock jocks (both male and female) like her.

Funny, I heard Ayo say "I don't deserve to have this job anymore" last week.

I was driving to work this morning and heard someone else working his shift and thought, "I bet he got canned" but heard a spot with Ayo telling listeners to come out somewhere to see him, so I just assumed he has the swine flu.

Good luck to everyone canned.

I have had friends in the industry down there and they say its not the same anymore. My dream is to get in the business--that was maybe 5 years ago. Now I see what occurs and go "do I REALLY want to pursue my dream"? Lem ,he may have been...Im not sure. Good luck to all..this is a rough trade

Indeed, the industry is no longer what it once was. I got out, because of that. Too much micromanagment from the corporate folks has ruined it all. I'd advise you to hold off on that dream for awhile. Maybe things will improve within a few years. But I'm not betting on it.
