If you go by radio locator 's map, metro west is a fringe area during the day, and not in the pattern at all at Night.
BUT IF YOU ACTUALLY LISTEN TO IT WHILE DRIVING ALONG 495, YOU WILL EXPERIENCE THE SAME DIFFICULTY AS ME.
YOUR POSTING THE LINK FOR A RADIO LOCATOR MAP IS NOT A MEA CULPA, BUT MORE OF AN ESTIMATE
1200 could well be new home for Rush and Sean by Mar 5
Would that work any better than when they tried the first time eight years ago?
True....but I think it's gotta work better than what they are doing now.....airing their programs on 1430AM...which after sunset (4:15PM in Jan)....it's darn near impossible to hear the signal places like Dorchester and Allston/Brighton with only 1KW (directional)!

Maybe just expand Fox Sports, 24/7—?Makes sense. Bloomberg contract ends on 2/28. Start new shows on 3/1. Still no news on what's replacing them on 1430.
Owned by a trust but iHR can't make program decisions, or can't make profits? @bostonradio suggested donating 1430 to a local school..
If you were a high school, and were faced with the operating expense of owning an AM vs. running an online station that has minimal cost, which would you choose?
WZLY comes to mind as the most recent, WPAA Andover was not so long ago either...
Those are non-profit FMs. 1430 is a for-profit AM, with very expensive tower and transmitter costs. Can't just rig up a yagi on the roof of your school.
