Bloomdaddy

Mike Trivosanno's(sp) permanent replacement on WTAM, "Bloomdaddy", is a competent talk show host. He, generally, is like many others, including the two guys who replaced Rush Limbaugh. They are all good, but don't have a special uniqueness, like their predecessors, that set them apart from the herd.

David Bloomquist (Bloomdaddy) hosted his show for several years on WWVA in the Wheeling, WV market. Prior to that, he was a TV sportscaster in that same town. In recent years, iHeart began to broadcast Bloomquist's show on a handful of stations in that general area of the country and at times his (pre-recorded) programs were heard in Boston, though never regularly. He departed from WWVA last month to take the gig at WTAM.

Clay Travis, Buck Sexton, and Dave Bloomquist are all good solid radio hosts.

Rush and Triv were just different kind of cats - they had things that just can't be taught at the Ohio Media School.

Charisma + special audience connection + the elusive "talent on loan" from God that only a select few naturally are born with.

They all sound the same to me. Right wing talking heads just reading an approved list of iHeart talking points. Even Triv fell into this trap the past 4 or 5 years. Boring.
I suggest that you give DENNIS PRAGER a try. He is not the same-old, same-old, talker. He is a deep-thinking conservative who comes up with points that no one else does. He's also not a "hot-dog" blow-hard. His presentation is different. I find him to be refreshing. THE DENNIS PRAGER SHOW, Monday-Friday 1:06pm - 3pm, and the first hour run Monday-Friday 10:05pm - 11:00pm on AM1420 WHK (on-line @ whkradio.com).

For a talk show that doesn't talk politics very often, you can check out the WEOL Morning Show, Monday-Friday 7:00am - 9:00am on AM930 and 100.3FM. The show has a Lorain County focus since that is where they are. You can listen on-line @ weol.com, by clicking on Stream one.

They sound more like Trump talking points, but can you reference where iHeart sets mandatory talking points?

It's more a list of strongly suggested topics and talking points for their conservative talk hosts to hit
