In 1993, Bloomsburg's cable company (Service Electric) moved their reception point from Mahanoy City to Shamokin, which resulted in an almost entirely new lineup, with new additions (and subtractions).

Bloomsburg is the only incorporated city in Columbia County, which places it in the Wilkes Barre-Scranton television market.

Correct. I think they always had some Philly stations on because of the influx of students that go to the university from that area. I could be wrong. These days the only two left are WPVI and WCAU.

Surprised that TBS is not on this system before or after the reception point changes, but TNT is.

It actually took until 1998 that TBS finally made it onto the system. I lived in Bloomsburg from 1987-1993, and that was a channel that I wanted more than any other.
