Blurt: Fate of 95.7?

The sentence refers to the Padres games being owned by the Walrus...says Clear Channel could acquire those iights...nothing said or implied about the Walrus being owned by CC. The sentence is correct as written.

I'm still confused as to why Tony and Kris wanted out of their contract in the first place. Has anyone heard anything about what the "coming big announcement" might be? Was working for CC so bad that they wanted out or did they just see the writing on the wall and decide to bail early? It just seems strange to me that they would give up a good paying job and not want to get paid until the last possible day even if they were unhappy.

The missing completion of the sentence has been added in the past 3 hours.

Tony and Kris probably got tired of having to do a double shift, one as mornings on 95.7, and the other scrubbing the toilets at Mike O'Brian's house. Mike had been wanting the morning gig for a long time, he thinks he's a star! He is not worthy to lick Tony and Kris' boots. But I would assume that if CC is talking about getting the Padres contract I would assume that we will soon see XTRA Sports 95.7 and Rancho Villa 1360. CC wouldn't waste the time, money, or effort on putting the Padres on 1360. Just some thoughts. But Tony and Kris are good guys, when the corporate gloves are taken off they are very talented guys, Hey maybe the Walrus needs an afternoon show. The walrus seems to be hiring all of the good SD DJ talent.
