"The suit claims BMI reached out to the station more than ten times via phone, mail, and email to inform the defendants about their obligations under the Copyright Act to purchase a license to publicly perform musical compositions in the BMI repertoire. These included cease and desist orders."

It's hard to believe that these characters from Seattle are making any money, operating a standalone FM from so far away. I wonder how many AE's they have on the streets of Grand Junction?

For the internet stations, they would have to pay Sound Exchange, or whatever it's called. That's a separate problem altogether.

ASS - U - MING IT IS an Internet station. They list themselves as being on 106.9 so I'm suspecting it's a Part 15 station streaming on the Internet somewhere (With MAYBE a listing on TuneIn)??
