BMP L PATRICK

Is it just me or has it been pretty quiet at BMP?
I know Hinson left, but you would think there would be changes with Larry Patrick.
Is he a good guy? Anyone know?
The trades all reported heavy debt and this is the reason there is a trustee.
Thoughts?

I would figure management is shining the place up and getting ready to sell off assets. Creating a lot of turmoil doesn't fit with shining the place up. ;)

in austin, they trying to move in a station into austin (license to sunset valley a suburb in austin) from elgin.

word from inside BMP is that they are making major changes. what those major changes consist of i do not know. this person also said that BMP is spending less on less profitable markets and throwing more money into more profitable ones. hmmmmm guess we will wait and see about all that.

Makes sense, but what markets are profitable for BMP. Based on recent actions, you might think that Austin is a good market since BMP is spending money on upgrading KXXS. But, I don't really think that Austin is a better market than San Antonio for BMP. My guess is that BMP is putting a little lipstick on Austin in order to sell the Austin group.
