BMP selling Laredo cluster

The application for transfer has been filed with the FCC; news of the sale was recently published in All Access.

In a deal yet to be filed with the FCC, BORDER MEDIA BUSINESS TRUST is selling three stations and an existing LMA of a fourth station in the LAREDO, TX market to ROBERTO GONZALEZ' R COMMUNICATIONS for $2.7 million. The stations include Regional Mexican KBDR (LA LEY)/MIRANDO CITY and Sports KLNT-A (ESPN THE ZONE) and Top 40/Rhythmic KNEX (HOT 106.1)/LAREDO, plus an LMA of Rock KQUR (94.9 THE WORKS)/LAREDO.

bmp still has austin, san antonio and the rio grande valley stations to sell. probably the rio grande valley area will be the next area cluster to sell.

Wow that is a firesale. Spanish Relgious flip in the works? I don't know too much about R Communications. By the amount of the sale being under $10 million I am sure he is one of the non profit broadcasters out there like with Crista Ministries and KFMK. I could be wrong. Just speculating. Who would they sale the San Antonio stations to?
