so what exactly would be the point of getting the stream to work first instead of the actual webpage?

Point well-taken, but personally I'd rather have a stream than a webpage. 
alright but at least you can sell the ad space on the webpage. you cant sell the stream.

Thanks for this. I requested BMP Radio to stream these stations shortly after they took over the stations from CBS radio. They said they were planning to stream them but it took a couple of years to do so and I forgot all about it. Look how long it took them to get a website for 1250 "THE ZONE" and that is just a temporary makeshift website they say. BUT, I'm very glad they are finally streaming.
