"BMW offers HD radio as option across all models - Analysis"

"But I am really getting tired of timeline comparisons between HD radio and FM radio. The reality is that HD radio has very little time to make its mark (as does satellite) because technology is moving forward at a breakneck pace. Even a casual browse of the news from this year's Consumer Electronics Show will reveal a number of developments that have the potential to leapfrog HD radio in five years or less. My advice: Hedge your bets. The tea leaves are not that hard to read. If you bother."

"You are very skilled at introducing tangents which don't address the points of the post. When Ford and GM announce HD as an option (or standard) across all models, let me know.In the meantime, please focus on the points in the post. This is not a spot for PR flacks of any stripe."

Looks like Ramsey, rebuffed someone from this board ! :D :D :D

Actually Ramsey deleted most of what I wrote.

It's amazing how a guy who purports to know "What's Next" can have such a huge blind spot.

What consumers buy and use determines who has the blind spot. Looks like that paycheck of yours paid for a great pair of rose-colored glasses.

Time will prove who is and is not right.

The guy has a blog that has the subtitle "What's Next."

He writes a blog entry about how BMW offering HD Radios in ALL of their cars is a bad thing because BMWs aren't "populist" vehicles.

So I point out that the radio manufacturers for both Ford and GM (populist automakers) have the radios.

Mark has a hissy...

And he's the one telling us "What's Next." Yeah, right!
