Bo Mattingly moving to 93.3

According to Arkansas Business, Bo Mattingly's sports talk show is leaving 103.7 The Buzz on Friday and will soon put up on 93.3 beginning December 10th. There is a sports show currently running on 93.3 called Game On with Wess Noore and Michael Smith. This leads to an interesting possibility, will 93.3 go all sports and move its talk shows like Glenn Beck to perhaps their sister station 96.5 which currently is a CHR station. BTW, The Buzz will start airing a new local show featuring former Razorback QB Matt Jones. I'm very curious to see if 93.3 will flip to all sports to compete against The Buzz and to a lesser degree Sports Animal AM 920.

KKSP has a poor signal compared to KABZ. But KKSP is filling holes in the schedule, the 3rd tier D-List conservative talk shows aren't drawnin' in listeners, perhaps Razorback-flavored sports talk might.

I'm hearing that this show will be moved to the Noon - 2pm time slot. They also have an evening sports/politics/Southern culture hybrid show with Rex Nelson and Blake Eddins in the evenings that seems like it will have potential...sounds a bit like Bill Vickery's show on the Buzz. I am also hearing that they are keeping Neal Gladner for non sports in the mornings.

Sports Talk with Bo Mattingly starts Monday on its new Little Rock flagship station KKSP-FM (Fresh Talk 93.3). The show will run from 2-6pm with Game On with Wess Moore and Michael Smith moving to 11am-2pm. Also Neal Gladner worked his last day as co host of AM Arkansas today. Rex Nelson and Blake Eddins will rotate week by week co hosting with Sharon Lee. Nelson and Eddins will continue to co host their Weekly Fried show on Monday nights now from 6-8pm.

And up north of LR they suffer from first adjacent interference from KZLE in Batesville (which would be a decent classic rocker if their audio sounded even somewhat respectable but it's pretty bad). At least Crain media had the sense to shut off the stereo pilot on KKSP's marginal signal. I wish they would do that on talker KSMD in Searcy. That would really help with the picket fencing in those hills.
