Bo Roberts! Heart Attack!

Heard on KZPS this morning that Bo Roberts had a heart attack Tuesday!
Jim & Randy said Bo is in good hands and will be having a quadruple bypass.
Holy Crap! :eek:

Everyone say a little prayer to your deity of choice, or just think good thoughts for a speedy recovery for Bo.

Bo abd his wife Deborah are dear friends. He is surrounded by his loving family and wanted his close friends to visit him today which they did. We are all praying that he will come through the surgery just fine. He is loved by so many! :-*
 
I first came to know of Bo in 1982 or so when he did mornings at KQRS in Minneapolis..we weren't really competitors since he was at an AOR and I was doing CHR. 17 years later, I got to work with him at KZPS. Went through all the hell when he and Jim were released in favor of B&T...so glad to see them back.

BO! Get better...it was great working with you and I've had fun listening online from time to time...you have much more entertainin' to do, so get well soon!

I've known Bo since about '78. He always worked his arse off! Hope in doing so
he didn't wear his heart out.

We're not done with you yet, Bo. Get well.
 
Bo and I accumulated more than sufficient reasons for the heart attacks we've both subsequently had, at WRNO late 70s and early 80s. Someone in Big D, please tell him Soxless sends his best wishes for a speedy recovery. Tell him if a self-destructo like The Moi Dude can make it back and last another 13 years, I know damned well HE can.
 
Heard from Jim this morning that all is well with Bo.
Surgury was successful and he should be back on his feet soon.

Keep thinking those "good thoughts"...I think it's working.
 
Sending my prayers to Bo and his family. Bo is DAMN good people. In the early days when I started working in Radio he always friendly. Like you were important and I think that has always showed in his work. Get well know that you have tons of friends who care!
