BOB 105.9

Driving home in Livingston < la 105.9 is BOOMING in..Z95.3 is non existant..so I was wondering. Are they back to pre Katrina power???? Just wondering....and praying it is ;D

It is… Just flipped on the little Insignia and was greeted with a station on practically every frequency here in Foley, AL.

So I'm not on the coast but here's a quick rundown of DX: Panama City (105.9); Dothan (96.9); Hattiesburg (103.7, 104.5, 106.3); Biloxi (90.3 HD but not a full decode, 93.7, 95.3 and 97.9 like locals, 99.1, 102.3, 103.1, 104.9, 105.9, 106.9, 107.9); New Orleans (93.3, 94.3, 95.7, 97.1, 98.5, 99.5, 101.1, 105.3).

There was a much stronger signal on 105.9 which I figure is WILN in Panama City. RDS but not enough to decode. Moving around I finally got BOB. Might be a good night to try a little near-dx (ha) on FM.
