I forgot who made the prediction, or let the cat out of the bag....

But it's Bob and Bucky in the morning. The move makes sense to the degree that it will get alot of chatter.

Half will love one, the other half will love the other. Can they bring the two halves together?
 
I'm the one that let the "cat out of the bag". The show may or may not work on KVET, the problem is what they are doing to the Zone. They've already lost so much of their talent and identity and now they have to put up with this simulcast. Who is really going to listen to it on the AM and more important....who is going to buy advertising? The Zone needs a separate identity to survive and thrive.
 
Anyone who's listened to the chatter in the stands when Bob Cole pipes up at a UT game knows what the UT faithful think of him...and it doesn't bode well for The Zone. He's been a joke ever since the "Barbeque Bob" days and putting him on with Bucky will just embarrass him and the station.

It's almost like CC is begging us to get satrad.
 
Well, after slapping them above, I went and gave them a listen over the past week. Actually, the show didn't demean my intelligence too much. No one said anything too stupid and a few respectable points were even made.

Perhaps the biggest difference between this show as it now stands and the morning news over on KLBJ AM is that you always know who is going to say what over on KLBJ. At least there's a bit of suspense over what's coming next over at KVET. You always know that on KLBJ, that Sam will be to the right of everyone else and that overall, the entire program has become right-wing. It's either sad or a complete joke, depending on your political affiliation.
