It would be nice if during the show drew said "YOU TAKE IT BACK,I HAVE RUINED THIS SHOW,YOUR THE STAR HERE" ;D

Then he takes that new piece of crap mike and snaps it in 2 :D

That's just mean. Bob is eighty-freaking-four years old. I'm sure he might want to enjoy what life he has left. Nobody wants to work that long. Really, if you look at the Bob's first couple of seasons, I'm sure you'll see he wasn't as fluid as he was when he retired. Give Drew a couple of seasons and see if he comes around.

He is actually eighty-freaking-five.

Ok, but...Todd Newton this, Todd Newton that! :D ;D ;)
Sorry, just not shutting up about who I believe would have been the better host replacement.

My goodness...to equate Drew's horrid performance with Bob's first two years of TNPIR is ridiculous. Bob was an outstanding host BEFORE Drew was born!!! He hosted Truth or Consequences for years and did an outstanding job.

Heck, Dennis James hosted the nighttime TPIR for a couple of years and did MUCH better than Drew (although let's be very clear that Dennis was no Bob Barker). My Dad and I watched Dennis at night and laughed at his antics, but he was much better than Drew.

Todd Newton? Sorry. I just don't see the appeal. Tom Bergeron would have been the best Barker replacement.

Ok,
I'll agree, I'd be happy to even see Tom do the show instead of Drew, but...
??? Isn't anyone curious enough to see how the show would do if it were hosted by the gentleman that is/was a soap star. (I forget his name already-I recall he was one of the possible choices.)

We'll never know, but it's the thought that counted, and it too may have been a better choice than hiring Drew.

You mean Doug Davidson from The Young and the Restless?

Tom Bergeron turned down the gig according to his autobiography. I agree that he would have been great. But I think Drew, after falling into a rut earlier this season, is really hitting his stride now.

As for Todd Newton... let's just say that I don't think Groucho would have liked him.

Ah, yes, thank-you. That's his name indeed.
