Bob Bittner picks up WWBK

According to Fybush.com, Bob plans to program a music format separate from the one on WJTO. I think that's great. Bob is one of the few owners who still believes in RADIO, not how much money he can make. I wish him the very best and look forward checking out the station once its up and running.

I'm curious to find out what kind of format he's going to program on WWBK, although IMO, I don't see the harm of programming it along the lines of WJTO and his Boston/Cambridge outfit, WJIB. After all, if it ain't broke, ...

In any event, all the best to JIBGUY with his new property.

back in the olden days... oh, 'bout 1978 or so... i recollect when AM 900 was WKXA-AM. it was actually the station "of choice" on base at Brunswick Naval Air Station (format was country), but i had to laugh when i let some of the "old timers" on base know that it sounded a little better on the FM side (WKXA-FM 98.9). they were true blue to their am radios.

best to Bob with his newest acquisition. if we're not careful, CC will be replaced by BB. (duckin' & grinnin')
