I worked for Debbie...
She is a GREAT GM! I worked for her in Tucson and she's very good at her job. I never had any problem with getting money or any other kind of support from her for anything. She trusts her Department Heads to know what they are doing. She believes in letting them run their own staffs, getting involved only to be helpful or if things aren't getting done. She has no problem dealing with problems, including terminating people if they need to be. That said, she's also quite fair. She also knows sales like few that I have met, yet she is not the typical 'sales whore' manager in that she understands and supports operations. She also gets involved with the community-in Tucson she's on many charity boards that get a LOT of money for the community!
I doubt that you will find anyone who has worked for her that has bad things to say about her.
I'm happy for her, and am convinced that she will do good things in San Diego.
