Bob FM???

Most Citadel adult hits stations use the "Bob" name. Could it happen to 95.7 or 105.9? Syracuse needs a hiphop station. Change the rock format @ 95X to 95-7 Bob FM, and the AC format as Lite 105.9 would become Wild 105-9. Most Citadel CHR-rhythmics use the "Wild" nickname, similar to how around 70% of Clear Channel's urban or CHR-rhythmic stations use the "Beat" name. Or otherwise, let that CC rimshot 105.1 rocker flip to "105-1 The Beat," and launch a Bob on 105.1.<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by PassDutch on 06/21/05 09:58 PM.</FONT></P>

Yeah CC should move 1079 to 105 and call it KISS 105 and then turn 107 into an all urban station (Power 107?) and then change 1069 to a dance station and then move Y94 to 93 and call it Y93 and then change the call letters for Y94 and change the format to spanish and flip the other stations to a CHR format and get an 80's channel in there somewhere and ... LOL!

Dance is niche, plus '80s is niche, and most '80s stations are getting killed by adult hits (aka Jack FM). Hot 107-9 would move to 105.1, and 107.9 would become 107-9 The Beat. Then CHR 93Q will gain huge points. Then launch a Bob on 105.9.

I can't think of anything that would make Lowry Suleman happier. I mean to be able to strengthen Clear Citadel's position in the Syracuse market like that would surely mean huge increases in revenue.

Now if only 95DogFest and The Balloon Summer Jam could bring in such great results.

By the way, I gotta say I hope they don't flip Lite 94. I love listening to Rick and Dave in the morning.

Actually, I think Ted and Becky are much better on B93. 95 The Dog is okay, but they should really start playing more modern rock. They're starting to sound just like TK104.

I agree, but I think first 99Q should flip with 105X. It would be good to get the Top 40 format on the big 42,000 Watt signal. Then the rock on 105X can become Jack, which wouldn't compete with "The New 105Q" at all.
