Maybe generally, but not in Houston. Entercom is doing well with The Spot, and does a great job differentiating it from similar formats.

The Spot has been my music station of choice since the format flip, but I have to say I am getting rather tired of it, as it is beginning to sound stale. The core playlist (those songs that receive the most spins) has been burnt to a crisp. Too often a song comes on and I groan and say to myself "Gawd, are they playing that YET AGAIN?" There may be issues with vertical/horizontal rotation, or the programmers have simply neglected to rebalance the playlist to prevent burnout.
