Bob Frantz's show expands

Mr. Frantz just announced on his 9am-11am show that, beginning Monday March 14th, his show will run for 3 hours, until noon. He did mention that Bill O'Reilly will be on near the end of the third hour. He didn't go into detail, but I'm guessing that may mean that Bill O'Reilly's 15 minutes will start at about 11:45am and run until about noon, instead of running in 5 minute segments at noon, 1pm and 2pm as is currently done. Even so, Bob insists that his show runs until noon.
As of this moment (9:20am Wednesday morning 03/09/22) he did not mention what will happen to "The Mike Gallagher Show". I presume that Mike's whole 3hours may be shoveled to overnights.

Maybe they will put back the first hour of Dennis Prager from Noon - 1:00 pm. With all that is happening in the world, it would be nice to hear him live rather than tape-delayed by 10 hours.

As confirmed by WHK's website:

Frantz - 9-11:45a
O'Reilly - 11:45a-noon
Gallagher - 1-3a (delay)

Everything else stays the same

Mike Gallagher's show is live for a full 3 hours (9am-noon EST/EDT). Interesting that they aren't, or can't, play the full 3 hours overnight.

Of the WHK talkers, as some of you may know, my favorite, by far, is DENNIS PRAGER. I've donated to "Prager University" as his 5 minute videos are an excellent way to get the message out, particularly because he has so many other sophisticated thinkers making the videos.

Next, I like LARRY ELDER. It's important to reach out to the African-American community. Hugh Hewitt is ok, although I'm listening to the WEOL Morning Show, so don't hear a lot of his show. Bob Frantz is a little too aggressive sometimes, imho, although I occasionally listen.
I do not like Charlie Kirk, a generally monotone, one-note, talker with no time for even a little levity, and even behind him is Dr. Sebastian Gorka who I do not listen to. The only good thing Dr. Gorka did for me was to get me to switch around a bit and I found "Kresta In The Afternoon" on WCCR, (4pm-6pm Monday-Friday).

I'm not a regular listener. If I'm in the car, I may pop over there and listen if I'm interested. I'm quite sure that the show is a paid hour. It airs live on WHKW 1220PM at noon with a re-broadcast on WHK at 6pm. Given all that, it's in a different category than the other shows that air during the weekday. It's a combination conservative talk show and infomercial.

OOPS.... I mean 1220AM.

I tuned in to WHK at 10:00 pm last night to hear the tape-delayed first hour of Dennis Prager's show, but instead I heard Mike Gallagher. I checked the schedule on the WHK website and it shows Mike Gallagher from 10:00 pm - midnight and from 1:00 am - 3:00 am with an hour of Charlie Kirk in between. Dennis Prager is only on from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm now. Apparently, WHK is no longer airing the first hour of his show. I thought Mike Gallagher's show was 3 hours. Did he expand it to 4 hours?

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! Like you, my brother and I tuned in yesterday at 10pm and heard Mike Gallagher instead of Dennis Prager. Now, to find out that Dennis Prager's first hour, arguably his most important hour, is gone is a very bad decision, imho. WHK is slipping. Mike Gallagher is a run-of-the-mill Conservative talk show host. Charlie Kirk is monotone on top of being so-so and Dr. Sebastian Gorka is unlistenable to me. Meanwhile, Dennis Prager is very unique. He's sophisticated, well read, and with well thought our talking points. I learn things from Dennis Prager that I learn from no one else.

Just today, a caller was taking the U.S. to task for all the times it has invaded countries. Dennis went on to say that there are moral invasions and immoral invasions. He asked the caller: "What about the U.S. invasion of France during WWII?" The caller wasn't, initially, familiar with what he was talking about, to which Dennis replied, "It's called D-Day". We had to invade all the way through France to get to Germany. A brilliant point made by Dennis, and one that I hadn't thought of this way. Dennis also pointed out the the U.S. has not invaded a country to take it over and make it a new U.S. state. Russia, and Vladimir Putin's, invasion of Ukraine is an immoral invasion.

I tried calling the station with the phone number in the telephone book. While I did get through, I just heard their air show and no one answered, even after 15 minutes. I may try again.

You actually think someone is there to answer the phone? If there is, they're probably thinking "What's that noise?" and then realizing it's a phone but by the time they pull it out of the closet and clean the cobwebs and dirt off it, you [or whomever else is calling] has hung up.

I called another number just before 11am. After ringing and ringing, the connection hung up on me.
I took down their address which looks like it is 4 Summit Park Dr. Ste 150 in Independence. Does anybody know what the zip code is?

WHK has modified their schedule a bit.

Mike Gallagher now airs in his entirety (on delay) from 10p-1a, and Charlie Kirk airs on delay from 1-3a (first hour still airs live at noon)

I hate that the shows are sliced and diced. They should air the entire show at once, either live or delayed. And if delayed, it should only be by a few hours. With all.that is happening in the world, airing a show delayed by more than a few hours is not a good idea IMO.

I tuned in to WHK this evening at 10 pm and Dennis Prayer was on. Did WHK change their schedule again?
Yes they did.

The lost hour of Prager now airs at 10p, Mike Gallagher's show airs 11p-2a on delay, and Charlie Kirk's lost hours air from 2-4a

Here's the entire schedule:

Hugh Hewitt 6-9a
Bob Frantz 9a-noon
Charlie Kirk (live) noon-1p
Dennis Prager (live) 1-3p
Sebastian Gorka 3-6p
Jay Sekulow 6-7p
Larry Elder 7-10p
Dennis Prager (lost hour) 10-11p
Mike Gallagher (delay) 11p-2a
Charlie Kirk (lost hours) 2-4a
Bloomberg Radio 4-6a

Thanks, John. I just heard that Larry Elder has left Salem, so there might be more changes coming.

Carl Jackson out of Orlando - who filled in for Elder during his run for governor in the California recall election - will hold down the fort until a full time replacement is named.
