Bob Gordon WFUN-WWOK-WINZ-WFTL Good Guy

And movie actor...was it jaws of death, that flying piranha adventure suspence film?
 
I never knew Bob but he came across on the radio as a very nice guy. He had his own brand of humor. Sometimes it wasn't what he said but the way he said it. I can still hear his say "Hello anybody!"
 
I had the peasure of working with Bob at WFTL... just a great guy...fun to work with and just a great all around person..He will be missed....

Another WFTL (14) alum eh? I was there 1974-1978.
 
Yep..worked at WFTL from 1982-1996..Don Willaims hired me part-time when I was working fulltime at SEXY WEXY...Went fulltime in the 7pm to midnight shift...Started when WFTL was THE MOR station Stayed when Mike Roberts changed to mostly Big Band....With Bob Gordon Stayed there there Entertainment Talk phase...Became Operations Mgr with HOT TALK..Steve Kane, Al Rantell and crew....Also Production Dir. I survived many changes their...Lasted until King PPaul had to cut back on expenses and was let go....but still did work for them using tradeout stuff as pay.
