Why bother doing a one hour show once a week? What's the return on investment for Bob Grant or WABC? You just get done saying hello and your show is over! Again why bother?
He should retire.
Now Bob says that Sunday will be his last show.

Strange blog. It's dated October 4th yet he refers to the upcoming debate. He mentions the one-hour show he's been doing "since I ended the regular format" -- but that was only last week. He refers to a "cruel conspiracy" but doesn't elaborate.

That has to be one of the most narcassistic, hate-spewing rants I've read in some time. The"lynching" term, and use of the race card referring to Obama's "henchmen" are especially revealing.
To every one of you who praise Bob Grant as some kind of great radio pioneer who paved the way for his proteges, just read that blog post. Not only does it speak volumes about the pathetic man who penned it, but it says a lot about you if that's the sort of person you look up to.
So this loathing, divisive and self-absorbed twit is finally about to be done? Well I'm sure there's another just like him waiting to fill the void, but other than that it will be a good day for talk radio. All I can say is, what took so long?

Well-said, TheaterOTM. I've never really understood the folks who say "the politics of this or that host are immaterial -- good radio is good radio". Lynn Samuels used to go out of her way to praise Limbaugh and Savage, for example, because she thought it was "good radio". Pandering to haters (on either side of the aisle) is still pandering to haters.
