Bob Howard, Longtime Overnight Anchor at KFWB Los Angeles

This appeared on yesterday’s (4/15) issue of LARadio.com. No age, date, or cause of death was mentioned in the article.

I Googled him by his full name, Robert, and the city he lived in, which I remembered from reading his bio on KFWB’s website when he was broadcasting, and found him on BeenVerified.com. It also listed his widow’s name, which I recognized from the LARadio.com article, which is how I know I’m referring to the right one. Because it lists addresses and phone numbers, I’m not linking to it directly, out of respect for his family’s privacy. His entry on there says he was 76.

Howard was the overnight anchor on what was then all-news KFWB News 980 in the 1:00 to 5:00 AM slot, until he was laid off in 2009.
