Another thanks! "Those were the days my friend; we thought they'd never end" WSUN 620 with Bob and Sharon, Neil, Rick and Suds etc.

Interesting that both Neil as well as Rick and Suds were all on WKXY 930 in it's heyday. WKXY had a lot of good local talent.

I did not know Neil was on WKXY, do you know when? Think he was on 1420 AM WSPB when he first moved to Florida in the mid 1970's. Please let me know so I can have the Wiki updated.

My apologies for the mis-information on that; I went to a WKXY website and Neil Rogers was not listed. (Rick Riley was); I now believe (but will have to do research) that Neil was on WSPB 1450 in the 1970's; for a while in either the mid to late 1970's WSPB was shifting to talk and it was all local; I'm thinking this was the time Neil was on WSPB. At any rate; for a medium sized market; often overshadowed by larger Florida radio markets; it seems that Sarasota helped many national talents get their start or jumpstart their careers.

drt,

It has been hard to pin down dates for Neil's stints at various stations in the early part of his career. according to Radio Years he was at WSPB in 1973. Did notice that Bruce Williams was there in 1979.

Any help with the dates he was at WSPB would be much appreciated.
