...Lassiter could arguably be considered one of the early architects of what we came to know as "Hot Talk." However, while he was big in Tampa, when he took his act to Chicago it flopped miserably -- Chicagoans don't like to hear their neighbors abused like Lassiter did it...
 
Well, the Lassiter story certainly doesn't reflect well on what has become of the industry - which is why you won't see his obit in any of the puff piece publications...
