"Bob-A-Loo" was a fine broadcaster, and a wonderful man. He passed away in 1987 at a very young 49.
Bob most certainly worked at WABC-AM and also worked at many New York radio stations including WMGM, WABC/WPLJ FM, WNEW, WCBS-F (in its early days as a progressive rock station), and then again some fill-ins for Cousin Brucie on WCBS-F near the end. He also did and incredible amount of national voiceovers (second only to Ingram).
