Bob Lovelady (WFAA) terminally ill

Many recent years on the floor crew at Channel 8, and one of THE nicest people I've ever met. Very sad to report that he's been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. No idea on the specifics beyond that. Please keep Bob and his family in your prayers. (Some of you may know his son Kyle Lovelady, who also works on the floor crew at WFAA.)
 
Channel 8 reports that Bob passed away this morning (Dec 26.) Thoughts go out to his family and friends. No word yet on services.
 
WFAA's ‎Jerry Cadigan confirmed that services for Bob will be held in Tyler at Burks-Walker-Tippit, 215 E Front St. Visitation is this Wed 5-7PM, and the funeral on Thurs at 2PM. Bob's son Kyle Lovelady is on Facebook, if anyone would like to send condolences.
