Bob Miller Is Doing Evenings on WGNY

Three or four weeks ago I noticed Bob Miller was ' in for Joe ', evenings on WGNY. There is no longer any mention of Joe or anybody else doing evenings on 1220 /98.9 on their web site. After this, much time I guess Joe has left the station. I wonder if Bob doing evenings is permanent or just temporary.

How about Tom Kent. That must be a great idea to bring it back to do a syndicated show which is "Classic Top 40" and those other ones like he used to do on WBPM's former "Cool 92.9" or bring a female jock to do evenings. Maybe Suzy Garcia would be a permanent replacement. He does her show at WRKI's "I95" as a rock station in Connecticut, but I hope he's coming back to the Hudson Valley here.

I have never been a big fan of syndicated radio but Tom Kent is the exception, his show is outstanding. I have missed hearing him since Pamal took over 92.9 WBPM, and dropped him. I would not want Tom to put Bob Miller off the air again but Tom Kent would be a great addition to WGNY's line up.

Just a reminder, tomorrow will be Bob Miller's last evening show on WGNY's "Fox Oldies" 1220/98.9. Starting Monday, he will be doing mornings on WBPM. I don't know if someone will take over Bob's place starting Monday. Maybe they should bring in someone beside Bob Miller. How about Suzy Garcia. That would be a great fit for the station to have a female jock for the station. She is doing her show on WFLY for a few weeks, and a brief stint on "I95" in Connecticut, but I hope she'll be coming to "Fox Oldies".

Wasn't Bob's show on Fox Oldies in the evening voice tracked ? It seems the his new promotion at WBPM is much better then WGNY Fox Oldies.

I don't think so, but I'm listening to him right now and as you probably know that this is going to be his last show on "Fox Oldies". He's on at 7 PM until midnight, after the show, he is going to leave the station to go to WBPM to do mornings starting this Monday. No word is going to replace Bob Miller on WGNY's "Fox Oldies", maybe Joe Manglass is coming back? Or maybe Tom Kent will do? Find out this Monday.

BTW, I listened to WBPM this morning during Dave Lucas' 2nd last morning show, Bob Miller was a special guest on the show and he is going to do mornings on the station.

I did listened to Bob Miller last night on WGNY's "Fox Oldies" and it was good, but there was no mention of an announcement that he's going to leave to station and said their goodbyes and nothing, I thought that this was considered the final show on the station until he goes to WBPM starting Monday morning. I don't know if Bob Miller will come back to do evenings on "Fox Oldies" in place of a new morning show on WBPM, or he would be on two different stations to do double shifts, I'm not really sure. I hope Joe Manglass will return to the station or not, but I hope maybe "Fox Oldies" will have a replacement for an evening shift. Maybe Tom Kent will do a syndicated show, he has his own website for the Tom Kent Radio Network. Here is the link.

disney fanatic,

You have to get a life. I do not think that Bob Miller will work for two station. Why do you think that Suzy will go to WGNY? Suzy is doing middays on WFLY right now and she works part time on I95. I think ABC is going to keep Suzy on WFLY for midday. People have to go and work were the money is.

chuck loves suzy but who will he make program director that's yet to be seen , some say marissa others say someone new.

Earlier tonight when I was on my way home from the car wash, I was listening to "Fox Oldies" and Joe Manglass is back on the air after a few weeks absence from the station. When Joe brought back, he thank Bob Miller for filling him in for a number of weeks, but now he is with WBPM doing his own morning show and did a great job, and he is not going back to "Fox Oldies" in the future to do fill-in. I hope Joe Manglass would do a lot better than this.
