Bob Neil leaving Cox??

He's going out on a high roll, as a reasonably young man. Consulting Cox = 'We don't want to be competing with you.'
This will lead to a shuffling of Cox Media employees. If I was a betting man, I'd put a couple of dollars on the future career of one Anthony Keitt. I suspect it will continue its upward path.

Anthony is a good kidd.

I think the bigger question is how it will affect WSB, NOW on 95.5 FM.

And another big question is how does it affect "consultant" Greg Mocherie who remained "advising" WSB AM. Cox relationships run long and deep, no matter how
the economy is going.
One of Bob's strengths is a slow, steady hand in a business that seems to react
suddenly to a lot of subtle distractions. Even having worked a WSB it's amazing
how few employees at WSB have seen or met him. A memo here, a phone call there
have proven a very unusual management style.

Of course, the question still remians,

How will this affect Q100?

Bob Neil will end up consulting Cumulus, which will then end up flipping 99.7 to AC WARM 99.7, and it's new 99 @ 9. 99 > 98, game over.

Bob is going to be a consultant at Cox? They have so many consultant's now rumor has it there will soon be a Vice President of Consultants.
