Bob Rowe, "Dr. Angel Fever", Passes Away at 70

Don Barrett reports that Bob Rowe, aka Dr. Angel Fever, longtime KMPC sports talk host, producer, and studio coordinator of Angel, LA Rams, and UCLA broadcasts, has passed away from cancer at the age of 70 at his home in Littleton, NH on Sept. 23.

Bob worked at KMPC from 1966 til 1994. He later did short stints at KABC and KMAX.

On a personal note, I worked with Bob for four terrific years. He was a class act on and off the air.

I first heard him when he was a top 40 jock on KUTY in Palmdale in 1961. I believe he went from there to KACY 1520 Oxnard.
